The pair live in poverty, with few prospects for money or love, and so decide to end it all. To their surprise, however, they are invited onto a reality game show by slimy host Lanzagorta, who makes a living turning other people's misery into entertainment. As Juan and Pepe deal with Lanzagorta's questioning and investigation, they come to realize that perhaps there is something worth living for after all.
