David O. Russell movies = overly praised poop. The Fighter was good but not great, and the rest of his stuff makes me yawn.

I don't think it's a necessarily bad thing but all his movies seem to have the main character out shined by the secondary or supporting characters. Did I want Mickey Ward to win the title in The Fighter? I could have cared less, I was hoping and Praying his older brother would sober up and become a good father though. In Three Kings, did not care at all what happened to the Three Kinds but wow what a story for that Hick character huh?
Have not seen I Heart Huckabees.

Funny enough the hick was played superbly by Being John Malkovich director Spike Jonze.
