Nearly twenty years later americas beloved yellow animated family still remain on the airwaves,so out of curoisity i cheacked out the very first season and what i saw stunned me. The first season was only 13 epsidoes long and the animation and voice acting wasn't that impressive but it would being a long tv run of one
of the most iconic tv series ever.
As it turns out the simpsons untill 1989 was just a short animated feature on the tracy ulman show, due to these shorts being so popular fox allowed the simpsons to be a featuere length tv series. The first premire episode of the season inovled how the simpsons got thier dog santas little helper and the final epsiode of the season would conculed with bart, lisa and maggie fighting of an evil babysitter. Over its 13 week run time the simpsons slowly gained in popularity and by 1991 simpsons-maina had taken america by storm which has seen it last to this day. Other epsodies in this season involed Bart taking on Nelson Muntz , Bart and lisa trying to save Kursty the klown from prison for a crime he didn't commit, and how our beloved baffon Homer got his saftey inspector role at the nuclear power plant, Aye Carumbia not a bad way to start a long running tv series. 100/100 if you haven't seen the very fisrt season of the simpsons idealy you probaly should cheacked it out
