It's better because it's full of more inventive direction than anything else Rodriguez has done. The dead girl flinching didn't ruin the film. Dead bodies can flinch days after death. Stop being a retard. (Reply to this) |
![]() on May 23 2007 09:49 AM In reply to this comment (#866477) I'm sorry you feel so offended truebastard, but I wasn't talking to you. If you look at the top of my comment it says "in replay to 702872", which would be me talking to MadmanCody. The guy thinks he can assume who I am and then stop the conversation which I find very rude so I was addressing him in the same fashion. He gave Planet Terror a 9 out of 10, the same score I gave it, and yet he wants to say I know nothing about movies and that El Mariachi is much better. Is it REALLY a 10? So if you want to talk I'm fine with that, sorry for the confusion and I hope my explination has cleared things up. Yes it was inventive but he does inventive stuff ALL the time! He's always making movies for about half of what they SHOULD cost. He did Desperado for like 9 million. Is that not impressive? He had to make Planet Terror for 25 million. Is that not impressive? Anyone else and I bet it would have cost 40 to 70 million to make. Yes, El Mariachi is a great achievement, perhaps the best in the sense that it shows film lovers how to make movies themselves. But even today he shows hollywood lovers, the directors themselves how to get a movie done. (Reply to this) |
