Frank Miller can write some original material but just as in the first movie keep him away from actually directing any scenes in the flick. Everyone knows he didn't direct a thing and then tried to ripoff the visual style for The Spirit.

He directed Robocop 3.
And yeah, sorry, but this still isn't news.

Scratch that. It was Robocop 2, but he didn't direct it, he only wrote the screenplay and cameo-ed.

come back to me when "talks sin city 2" is replaced by "filming sin city 2". all it ever is is talk talk talk. snooze...

Actually his script underwent heavy rewrites, and was split up and used for both RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3. I happen to love RoboCop 2 and hate RoboCop 3, but there's very little left of Miller's work in either of them, so I don't think he can be held responsible one way or the other.
Regardless, he's not a good director, so if he's involved at all in Sin City 2, I hope he sticks to writing the source material and acting as a consultant/co-director-in-name-only, just like he was the first time around.

KEEP FRANK MILLER OUT OF THE DIRECTORS CHAIR!
May 6 - 05:50 PM
well, yeah, we all agree that he is a bad director

I hope they make this in time for it to even be remotely significant. Sin City was taken with mixed reviews (most being positive but i know a good lot of people that disliked it a lot). Unless theres concrete shots of it being produced i don't think this will be a highly anticipated sequel.

Why in heavens name are they trying to do this. (besides the obvious money factor.) Sin City was dreadful.
