This chilling and gory cult horror film from Greek director Nikos Nikolaidis follows a detective searching for his missing girlfriend, who winds up wounded and unconscious at an isolated villa occupied by two women. They take him in--but he soon discovers it's not out of kindness, as their idea of hospitality involves imprisonment, torture, and sadism; what's more, this twisted mother-daughter team may be responsible for the disappearance of his lover. Nikolaidis's deranged gem of a movie paints a haunting and often quite gross portrait of a world in which looking for love will get you nothing but pain, bondage, insanity, perversion, and "erotic regurgitation."
