Hope to see more movies starring Ethan Hawke. Yes, he is underrated. He's good in all of his movies, even in Sinister. It's just him and the super 8 films and the gets really scary.

Saw it opening night. Godd film. The ending was a bit of a letdown but overall everything from the beginning to near end worked very well. It was more than just a horror because the plot also delves into the issues that the dad and the rest of his family are going through with the horror factors aside. Yes things go sour because of an evil deity. But the real reason and the moral of the story was that things went sour because of the fathers obsession and putting his work before his family.
