It is that combination that leads him to believe he can win a dream date with his favorite movie star, the beautiful Julia Fontain, who is holding open auditions for a "regular guy" to take as her escort to the Oscars. Though scarcely regular, Skippy is a romantic at heart, and never doubts for a second that he can take the town by storm and win over his true love.
