A brainless teen comedy to seat in from of the TV for a few laugh and to spend your spare time. This movie it is also known as "She Gets What She Wants". It also it is a teen remake of "All About Eve".

Piper Perabo looks too old to be in high school but she does a good job playing a lying, cheating, stealing b*tch. There were a few scenes that I thought were funny but it was just a typical teen flick.

Casting is all wrong, the script is trash and the dirrection is nowhere to be found, it must be made for cable.

In the spirit of Mean Girls, this movie spotlights some of the challenges of fitting into a new culture. With beauty pageants, French sophistication, and a twist(ed) ending, this movie will delight fans of both teen girl movies and uppity girls who get their comeuppance!

Dude... that southern drawl does not represent our whole state! I hate defending that fact time and time again!

It was a decent formula film, but nothing spectacular.

As if the tried and true back-stabbing formula needed to be done again, "She Gets What She Wants" is a perfect example of not leaving well enough alone. There's not much going on here, but there are some honest laughs to get you through it. And just when you think its safe to go back to the formula, it's not. Stale, unbelievable plotting finally does its worst in the end. This flick tries to be edgy, but that's a tough sell when every cliche in the book is thrown at the screen.

Probably the worst movie I've ever seen. I thought the movie was a joke until watching it for about 20 minutes. Nothing but run-of-the-mill stereotypes that are so outdated they aren't even insulting. It sort of wants to be Mean Girls or Clueless with none of the wit. Not even Disney could produce this piece of shit.

The movie fools you into thinking it has something new to offer to an overused formula, but soon shows it's true colors and gives you a boring paint-by-numbers teen film.

A paint-by-numbers teen film in the grand tradition of Clueless or Mean Girls. The premise: a French exchange student (Piper Perabo) comes to a small Texas town and predictably turns life upside down for the hicks therein... yet this film has a twist at the end. Thankfully, it's not telegraphed throughout the entire movie, but it's not a complete surprise.

The movie is basically harmless, even if it doesn't do that much good, either. It's OK for late night cable viewing, but skip paying money for it. If I didn't have a huge crush on Piper Perabo, I'd skip it myself, but it's a decent (if not great, or even good) film anyway.

RELEASED ON VIDEO AS "SHE GETS WHAT SHE WANTS", I PROBABLY ENJOYED THIS MORE THAN I SHOULD HAVE. IT'S ANOTHER "BACKSTABBING HIGH SCHOOL SPOILED GIRLS" FLICK, BUT I DID LAUGH MORE THAN JUST A FEW TIMES. THE CAST IS VERY ENJOYABLE, ESPECIALLY JANE MC GREGOR. THE TEXAS SETTING IS A PLUS.

Not only is this insulting to French people, but Texans as well (though I don't care, I'm not Texan or French) this flop had me nodding my head as I exerted all effort to not falling asleep. Not only bad, but ABC Family bought the rights, renamed it to "She Gets what she Wants" and marketed it as an "ABC Family Original" and we all know how quality movies are anything BUT ABC Family Originals.
