Wall-E should have been in the Best Picture Category instead of the reader. The reader got like a sixty. Wall-E got a 96

Yes, because homosexuality is immoral. Moron.

Yes, because homosexuality is more important than the WILL of the people. Moron. Keep complaining dip**** but the people voted for Prop 8, nothing you, your gay lover and the morons in Hollywood can do to change that.

Feb 22 - 06:09 PM

Ivan M.

Ivan Mendes

Great point. You can't shove the gay thing down peoples throats....no pun intended...haha

Feb 22 - 06:18 PM

Tanner K.

Tanner Kundrat

Yes, it is. I'm pretty sure due to the equal protection clause of the fourteenth amendment of our constitution, homosexuality is more important than the will of the people. The constitution was made to protect the rights of the minority, not to discriminate against them.

Milk only won because of its politics, it was kind of a weak script...

Yes, because the will of the people is always correct. That's why slavery used to be totally ok and now it's not. What are you, a mormon? Why the hatred? Doesn't your imaginary friend disapprove of bigotry?

Feb 22 - 06:17 PM

Ivan M.

Ivan Mendes

Relax dude. You have to have some morals otherwise we'd be no better than animals. Morals are what separate us. And if we keep down this road we'll be asking for the rights to have sex with animals. Where do we draw the line??
I digress..

Feb 22 - 06:23 PM

Of course jokerboy, the losers in Hollywood need to show that their OPINIONS are more important than the will of the people

i know slumdog will reap the main ones but i honestly expected frost/nixon to take best adapted, that script was tight.

Humbert, I like how you attack the mormons in a post asking why the hatred. Nice double standard.

Feb 22 - 06:23 PM

So the will of the people should be changed for the will of the VERY FEW? I guess according to you dumb****, blacks should not be able to vote, hey the KKK should be able to push their views like the gays

Feb 22 - 06:25 PM

Humbert Humbert

Crusty Juggler Last

Andy, thank your for the insight. I will never point out bigotry or backwards thinking again. That way, it will all just go away on its own when they come to the sudden realization that they are wrong without any social pressure to do so. It has worked that way perfectly in the past, right? Oh wait...

Feb 22 - 06:25 PM

Neat...sarcasim. I guess it is easy for a bigot to pick out bigotry.

You'd really think RT had some moderators keeping an eye on things, deleting comments like in this thread and banning people like Loyalty. You know, like EVERY forum does.

No surprises yet. I'm still angry Gran Torino didn't get any nominations!

Feb 22 - 06:27 PM

Dude, Gran Torino was only good because of Clint Eastwood and the nice script. the rest of the cast sucked...

Feb 22 - 07:39 PM

Man I would even say the script sucked too, the only reason why I liked it was because of Eastwood.

Feb 22 - 07:45 PM

Clint should have gotten a best actor nomination! I also think the title song should have been nominated.

Feb 22 - 07:49 PM

Dan Blackson

no worries! gran torino came out just after the deadline. the movie was a huge success in all aspects, i have no doubt that next year gran torino will get some noms.

and in response to all this Loyalty b.s., people like him are the reason i hate forums. people come on and flame about random things because they don't have the balls to do it in real life. people come to this site to read about movies, not gay rights, no matter what side yur on. Loyalty is an ignorant flamer (meriting the same ignorance that millions around the world do) and everyone trying to fight for the gays is just fueling his fire. thats how it is in any forum dispute. its best just to drop it

Feb 23 - 08:49 PM

jokerboy1991

jack giroux

No it didn't it, it was released in a few theaters in December so it was eligible... I liked Grand Torino but I think it gets way too much praise. I thought the only good thing was Eastwood and everything else sucked. I kind of thought Benincio Del Toro should have been nominated for CHE.

Humburt is just mad that him and gay lover are going to burn because he called my REAL friend imaginary. Dumbf.u.c.k. have fun in hell loser.

hey captain dumb ****, are you basing your entire argument on your religious beliefs? hmmm... i think you are...way to back up your argument against gays with something that you have no proof even exists (heaven, hell, whatever bull**** your dumbass believes in) you might as well use fairy tales and fables to back up your feelings...poor baby...go play with your imaginary friend

How about we just do what is right and civilized and stop getting worried about what the majority thinks? Are you capable of thinking for yourself? You do realize that blacks being able to vote is the result of a minority movement, yes?

Feb 22 - 06:27 PM

scifimark

scifi mark

no such luck mouse lol. how about everyone keep their politicail beliefs to themselves for the time being and discuss some movies

Feb 22 - 06:28 PM

TheCaptain of TeamLoyalty

John Webb

Yeah what is right and civilized happen when Prop 8 was voted for. Gays were shown that they cannot push their views on everyone. Are you capable of using common sense? Of course not you are gay. You do realize that if we put up with gays pushing their views we need to put up with every MINORITY pushing their views? So using your logic you support the KKK pushing for blacks and catholics to be kicked out of the country. MORON. Mouse clicker go away troll.

Feb 22 - 06:32 PM

Humbert Humbert

Crusty Juggler Last

Yes, I'm obviously gay because only a gay person would ever have anything sane to say about gays, just like how every white person secretly wishes black people couldn't vote or get married. I'm really, really scared by your bronze-age mythology. Literally shaking. I'm totally, totally serious.
