A small boat taking American tourists to an African resort is shipwrecked off the shore of Snake Island, a remote location with a questionable history. Tour leader Jake Malloy (Wayne Crawford) and Malcolm Page (William Katt), a novelist researching his next book, try to help the others make it through the night, but the island's inhabitants -- the titular snakes -- have other ideas, none of them very good for the humans. ~ Buzz McClain, Rovi

Interesting premise of nature and natural selection ideas. mostly corny, but some great snake species and some accuracy information about venom..

I'm giving this two stars instead of one simply for the techno snake dance scene. Oh, and the newlywed death scene. "That IS big."
