Sol Goode (Balthazar Getty) is a charismatic twenty-something whose charm carries him through life. Living by collective wits, Sol and his hip L.A. friends appear to have it all, despite struggling to attain both successful careers and steady relationships.

A broke aspiring actor, Sol shares a home with Justin (Jamie Kennedy), an uptight agency mailroom worker, who takes to browbeating his room mate over unpaid rent. Despite consistent pressure to join the family business and become an umpire, Sol turns to his parents (Robert Wagner and Christina Pickles) for help. However, fed up from years of supporting their son, they have now decided to end their parental scholarship. Seemingly content with casual relationships, Sol has never really had a real girlfriend and refuses to be seen with his most recent flame, Tammie (Tori Spelling). Chloe (Katherine Towne), his beautiful, intelligent best friend, believes Sol fears any sort of commitment while his other friend, Cooper (Danny Comden) seems to raise the dating bar to new heights with a Diesel model (Carmen Electra) as his latest conquest.

After a string of bad luck leaves Sol with a towed car, a threat of actually having to work for a living and on the brink of eviction, he realizes exactly what he has been looking for, a loving relationship with his best friend, Chloe. The only one who sees through his cool facade, Chloe turns him down forcing Sol into soul-searching delusions about what to do with his life.

Serving as a responsible example for Sol, Justin also reaches his breaking point, suffering abuse at work from his new boss Berni Best (Cheri Oteri) and at home from his extremely demanding fiancee, Brenda (Natasha Gregson Wagner). Fed up, Justin calls off his engagement and then proceeds to quit his job as well. Sol finally faces the challenge of growing up, and for the first time, takes responsibility for his life and his quest to win Chloe over. The result is a wickedly funny; heart felt story called SOL GOODE. [More]
