The Sorcerer's Apprentice should be rated U for Untouched by Human Hands.
Hahahaha I love it! When Travers hates a movie, he usually comes up with some really brief, but really brilliant reviews!

Any review by Rolling Stone isn't worth reading

And what makes you say that, in all your infinite wisdom? You're so convinced of it you're not even going to bother giving a reason?

Care to explain why? Travers is one of the better critics around. He's one of the few I'll even bother reading.

It is a sad thing when a person lacks or perhaps loses his ability to enjoy a truly wonderful movie and doesn't realize it.The characters are engaging and have chemistry, the story is original and fun, the effects are superbly done and there is enough ambiguity in the storyline to keep us wondering what is next. What's not to love? The scene you found most fault in (the live action tribute to Fantasia's Sorcerer's Apprentice) was a delightful, faintly irreverent but adorably funny scene. Anyone who didn't see it is as such as been so brutalized by the 'real world' they no longer have the ability to have fun and should just check out of anything involving imagination. Definitely should not try to review a movie that invites the viewer to take part in a buffet of magic and science in a tale woven in fantasy and fun.I agree with Jerry G on this one. If this review is any indicator, I'll never pay heed to a review by Rolling Stone.
