Originally aired in 1975, the tapes include: "Breakaway" - Commander John Koenig (Martin Landau) combs Moonbase Alpha in search of a virus that has preyed upon the crew of a space probe bound for planet Meta. The fate of the Moon depends on discovering the source of the disease before it destroys everyone. "Matter of Life and Death" - When a ship sent to investigate planet Terra Nova returns with Lee Russell -- the long-lost husband of Helena Russell (Barbara Bain) -- strange phenomena begin to point to an imminent disaster surrounding Moonbase Alpha. "Black Sun" - Victor (Barry Morse) works feverishly to build a force field to protect the moon from the black sun that slowly draws them into its orbit. Koenig puts together an Eagle craft to evacuate select crew members. [More]
