Tobey Maguire Gets "Quiet"
Tobey Maguire ("Spider-Man") will co-produce and star in the romantic comedy "Quiet Type," says The Hollywood Reporter. The plots deals with an "unassuming mute from a small town who moves to New York to pursue his dreams of conducting an orchestra."
Word is that Mr. Maguire's character will remain entirely mute for the entire film, which is something that the actor found quite intriguing. The original spec script for "Quiet Type" came from Rob Perez, which New Line promptly handed over to Martin Hynes ("Stealing Harvard") and then Richard LaGravenese ("The Fisher King") for a few rewrites.
