Critic Review - TIME Magazine

I liked it. To place a sensitive story in a male-epic genre -- to dramatize feelings of angst and personal betrayal worthy of an Ingmar Bergman film, and then to dress them up in gaudy comic-book colors -- is to pull off a smartly subversive drag show.

Corliss misses the mark. Yes, the movie has "a sensitive story" but it is completely mishandled. It is nothing to praise.

I can see it now on the Spiderman 3 DVD case in big, bold letters -- "A smartly subversive drag show!!!"

This movie was garbage aside from a couple cool effects, any reviewer who thinks otherwise is bad at their job

What an odd review. You obviously have gender "issues." I LOVED this movie, and it was even better the 2nd time I saw it.

Even mentioning Ingmar Bergman in a review of this movie is complete lunacy. Give me a break...

I think Corliss needs to get an eye check. That movies sucked so badly . Spiderman went emo and I hated the random fight scenes.

I had no idea that reviewers that disagree with popular opinion were bad at their jobs. Damn different opinions, huh?
