Too many villains, too many pale plot strands, too many romantic misunderstandings, too many conversations, too many street crowds looking high into the air and shouting "oooh!" this way, then swiveling and shouting "aaah!" that way.
this was the far out the best of all spidey films although i wish that venom was in the movie longer. but i heard that there is a venom spinoff film coming out which technically means that venoms alive.
Big spidey fan but i was a bit disapointed with the way the third movie turned out. They drifted away from the first two and it was so over the top. I agree it was overdone.
I always seem to agree with Ebert. I was really excited for this movie, but it was just....bad. Like that whole switching the death of Peter's uncle around crap to fit the plot, cheezey lines, an emo peter parker and and the skinny guy that 70s show playing big bulky eddy brock. I love Venom, and I love Topher Grace, but I also like pizza, and I like ice cream, that doesn't mean I should mix the two together.
I agree Ebert. I wouldn't say Spider-Man3 is a terrible movie, but it's sure as hell a disappointing one. And now that 4 is cancelled, it will forever be the closer of the series.....
I agree with this entirely, there is just too much going on in the film, they should have left venom out of the story. Having him in it just complicates the whole thing even more than it already is and ruins venom for fans.
This was the second best film in the trilogy. Don't know why people hate it so much. I Liked the first Spidey film. The second was a disappointment. The third definately improved over the boring and overrated second film, though.
