jeremyd4 writes: on Oct 31 2007 01:49 AM just read a news article that said the screen writer of "Zodiac" will be doing the script for Spidey 4, and they'll scale back the use of villians - more focus on story and not special effects... good news i say!! source: (Reply to this) |

Heath H. writes: on Oct 31 2007 08:48 AM I like all the entries in the Spider-Man franchise, even 3. Sure, it's not even in the same ballpark as the first 2 (that's obvious), but I thought it was a head above most super-hero movies (Fantastic Four? Ghost Rider? Catwoman? Elektra? Hulk?). However, like many Spidey fans, I'm ready for a change in the film franchise. (Reply to this) |

Ne0x1ty writes: on Oct 31 2007 10:24 AM Spiderman 3 was just pure dog poo. The story wasn't anywhere near as strong as it was for the first two. All three turned out to me was gimicky, let's throw all these villians in here! Oh, it would be cool to do his black suit versus his red suit. This movie ruined the best spidey story there is by killing Venom. How many people really want to see Venom / Spiderman versus Carnage? That's what I'm talking about (Reply to this) |

Ne0x1ty writes: on Oct 31 2007 10:26 AM To me, the whole use of all the villians was purely so they could do that 'epic' 2 v 2 battle at the end. (Reply to this) |

kdbarrett writes: on Oct 31 2007 11:03 AM I liked Spidey 3, but not as much as the first two. It was too long and had too many story lines. Just the Venom or just the Sandman would have been much better, especially when you throw in the whole Goblin redemption bit. And TWO songs from Kirsten? Completely unnecessary. But the action scenes were great and it was fun to see Bruce Campbell get a few more lines. (Anybody watch "Burn Notice"?) My biggest problem with Spidey 3 was Peter forgiving the Sandman, which then somehow made it okay for him to escape. Didn't matter how much destruction he'd caused, so long as Peter forgave and sniffed. That really annoyed me. (Reply to this) |
