In this inspiring documentary, we will follow a team of actors and a playwright who make up the Voices of Uganda as they travel to an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in northern Uganda to work with 14 Ugandan teens on a theater program. AFTER KONY - Staging Hope tells a riveting story of the cross-cultural collaboration to use theater to help the 14 Ugandan teens share their story of resilience after being abducted and forced to become child soldiers and sex slaves in northern Uganda.
