Stefan Haves directs the independent comedy drama Stalled. The story involves a Chicago rock band traveling on a tour through the South. Their van breaks down in a small town called Hereabouts, AL, and they end up staying with a stereotypical hillbilly family (Doug Jones, Christine Deaver,Amy Lucas). Feels like the filmmakers simply ran out of incest jokes and decided, on a whim, to shoot for some melodrama.
What an appropriate title for a film that literally stalls within seconds of starting.
