You think this resembles Star Trek's legacy? It doesn't. Roddenberry would be upset to say the least. The story is ludicrous and Kirk has been reduced to a drunk womaniser, to name only two things wrong with the movie. A new influx of fans expecting crap isn't what I want.

I loved the original Star Trek, though this movie was quite different, it is still a great reiteration that is way more enjoyable than outsiders or friends of the franchise assume.
