Guess the Tomatometer

I predict a solid 82% final Tomatometer score.

While "Star Trek: Into Darkness" is nowhere near as refreshing as the 2009 original, it is nonetheless an excellent piece of sci-fi film-making from J.J. Abrams, with an effectively creepy performance by Benedict Cumberbatch.

I honestly hope it's better, but I just have a feeling the meter will go down when it gets closer to it's release.

With the reviews so far I'll reassess my original opinion. I think it will probably be between 85-89% with an average between 7.2 and 7.8. I think the Public rating will be in the 90s though.

Lowest at like 73% which would be a huge dissapointment. Realistically thinking prob like 84-90%. What I hope for? No less than 90%. 95% is a tough act to follow; people seemed to forget this when going into The Dark Knight Rises(The Dark Knight 94% and AR 8.5/10).

85-90, I believe they finally figured out how to make a good Star Trek film; at the lowest I could see a 75.

At the lowest 85%, at the highest 95%, I would guess that it would most likely be between 91 and 94%. I think though that this movie will probably have a higher public rating on IMDB and on RT.

80-90. I think some critics will turn on it for the dark themes just the same way alot of critics turned on star trek III when it came out for the same reasons.

I think it might get a little higher than that if the movie looks as good as the trailers. I guess I'm just hoping a little too much, though.

Have you seen Benedict Cumberbatch act? He's brillaint. There is no way that he'd be delivering a sub-par performance. The cast has said themselves that when he was on screen, they had to up their game to keep up with him because he was so darn compelling.
