Superb film. Puts Iron Man 3 to shame.

Hell yes. I did see that. It was quite entertaining, but I didn't feel the need to watch it again. STID was much more captivating.

great film, fantastic visuals and perfect sound editing. I am not into StartTrek but this movie was well worth the ticket. I may see it on 3D now since the fun is all out there.

One of my favourite films so far. Going to go see it again to make sure I'm right. Very good execution of the storyline.

I thought it was a fantastic film. Loved it. Best film I have seen since the Hobbit (and I really liked the Hobbit).

I saw it yesterday in IMAX, and I have to say as a die hard Trekkie, I really enjoyed it.....the interweaving between what was and what is now was well done. I very much enjoyed this movie...... Was unsure after the first one and some if the liberties they took (galaxy destroying supernova anyone ??)
Worth the wait, and only a few minor niggles canon wise.....8.5/10
I really enjoyed it! I'm not really a big Trek fan to be honest and when the first film came out I wasn't really sure how I felt about it (I've learned to love it since then). There's a lot of things I want to discuss but unfortunately there'd be a lot of spoilers if I did, so I'll come back to it in a week or two. I suppose the main thing I liked about this film is that it was very... linear (?) for lack of a better word. It really knew where it was going from the beginning and followed it through until the end. In the first one I felt the plot jumped around a lot to set things up and develop characters, which is inevitable in a first film I suppose... I dunno where I'm going with this haha.
But yes, even if you don't like it, it truly is very enjoyable.
