I completely agree.
I don't understand why it was so overrated.

I have to agree. George Lucas was genius in the general plot, and this could have been the best film of the entire saga, but yes, it was a huge disappointment. The story itself was good, and Lucas is an excellent story-teller, but the dialog in this move was painful to listen to at times. He really should have had someone else write the script, as well as direct. Ewan MacGregor, Natalie Portman and Samuel L. Jackson are far better actors than they showed in this movie.
