Although he does raise a couple good point in this review about the movie's plot, it isn't enough to justify giving it only 1 star. The movie was clearly better than that. It may be a mediocre movie, but it's not a bad movie.

The other half of his review is just very opinionated and nit picky attacks at tiny insignificant details, which have nothing to do with whether the movie is good or not.

I like Ebert, and generally agree with him on most of his reviews, but this one he got it wrong.
