Depicts the experiences of a down-and-out wildcat oilman who believes in hitching his wagon to a star.
Beautifully and loving photographed by Bruce Surtees, a very good feel for the times. The sets are well thought out and excellent. The main flaw of the film is that is feels very overlong at only two hours. The acting is very good. It is just slow at times.
