...suffers from an egregiously low-rent vibe that effectively distances it from Paul Verhoeven's comparitively masterful 1997 effort.
There are some scenes that will definitely turn your tummy, so if you're squeamish you might want to save this DVD till after the dinner hour.
This is a franchise that deserved better than a straight-to-video sequel . . .
If you liked the original, you'll hate the sequel and everyone involved in the making of it.
Likely to put off fans of the original, pleasing only those who can reap high entertainment value from the bare-bones ingredients of gore, boobs, and bug-splatter.
Isn't Verhoeven's original, but it's still a pleasing second coming for the bug squashers
