Movie Info

Though everyone knows the names of A-listers such as Will Smith and Angelina Jolie, many working actors are known only by their faces. These background players take center stage in this program from Starz that focuses on memorable character actors such as Stephen Tobolowsky, Jane Lynch, and Joan Cusack. ~ Kimber Myers, Rovi

Audience Reviews for Starz Inside: The Face Is Familiar

A documentary about the importance of character actors... people we all recognize but might not be able to name. You know the ones... the "that guy!!!!" The lesser-known stars who take a backseat to the leads but know the art of stealing a scene. Sprinkled with clips from their work, the stars share their thoughts about what it means to be a character actor, the pride they take in their work, typecasting, and other little tidbits of interesting stuff.
