The movie just doesn't work, though there's certainly talent on display.

Reviews for Stealing Time
The film seems unfortunately destined to be one of those not-so-great indies in the respective filmographies of its actors, reflecting a time when they were desperate to get work of any kind.
There's not a character, situation or line of dialogue that feels fresh or as if it came from someone's imagination or life experience instead of experience with movies.
[Garrity's] story nor his etch-a-sketch, cliche-addled characters ever take flight.
