Almost two hundred years later, Shima enters the Foundations, a group of floating space stations that stand as Earth's line of defense against more cosmic shock waves. Like HARRY POTTER in outer space, the Animé STELLVIA is about the education of Shima and her friends on board the space station, training them for the day when they will be in charge of saving the planet. In VOLUME THREE, Shima has become the best pupil amongst her peers, but an excellent new student throws her confidence awry--especially after the new student declares herself Shima's rival. As another cosmic wave approaches, Shima and her classmates face the fact that they may be the ones called upon to save Earth, with disastrous consequences if they fail. [More]
