Reviews for Sun Kissed
One would like to say that gay indies are better than ever, but then something like Sun Kissed comes along and drags the whole shebang down to rock bottom again.
A poorly crafted grab-bag of ideas barely elaborated upon enough to sustain a 20-minute short.
When a movie aspires to be gay pornography but can't even manage that, well, you know you've got a bad movie.
Is Leo schizophrenic? Did he kill his ex-wife? Did he have an ex-wife? Did he kill Teddy? Is Teddy dead? Who knows, and frankly, who cares?
Watching the film, you get the ain't-quite-right sense that a slab of clay intended for Bergman has been mistakenly shaped by an acolyte who should be setting his sights on watercolors.
