jokerboy1991 writes: on Jan 24 2009 11:19 PM Mhm, I gotta say MOON is the movie I am mostly looking forward to that appeared at sundance. Sounds awesome, Sam Rockwell is awesome, Clint Mansell is awesome, and the director is David Bowie's son (any other Bowie fans present?!?). (Reply to this) |

BowieSwimmer writes: on Jan 25 2009 12:41 AM When Variety released their 'Push' review midway through Sundance, and long before the awards were announced, I knew it would be a big winner. And rightfully it was... sounds like a beautiful, heartbreaking, brilliant piece of independent filmmaking, and the kind that can surprisingly catapult out of Sundance into legitimate releases. Fingers crossed, I would just love to see his picture do huge things. Also looking foward to the Zooey Deschanel film '500 Days of Summer,' which will release in summer of 2009. Its been a while since NYC hipster have had a romantic comedy to attach themselves to ('Nick & Norah's' certainly does not count...), and this definitely looks like one to watch out for. mssk8erboy writes: on Jan 25 2009 01:22 PM I too am a little disappointed by the lack of coverage on Moon. It looks amazing, and the few reviews i have seen for it say that Rockwell is amazing in it. Hopefully it gets picked up and we see it soon. Gotta love Bowie, the man is awesome. -MIKE (Reply to this) |

tomwaitsjr writes: on Jan 26 2009 12:27 PM In reply to this comment (#2281418) The film is 72 minutes long. . . No idea what they are going to do with it financially at such a stupid length of time, and not being a cartoon or porn. . . I love Wallace, so I'll probably not bother watching this film.
