Trailer Bulletin: "Sunshine" and "TMNT" Trailers!
by Jeff Giles | January 18, 2007
Discuss Article
Ain't it Cool News posted the trailer for director Danny Boyle's upcoming film, "Sunshine," and though it's really just an extended musical montage with bits of narration, it should still set sci-fi hearts aflutter. The movie stars Chris Evans, Rose Byrne, and Cliff Curtis in a tale that takes place 50 years in the future when the sun is dying. A spaceship with a crew of eight carries a device which can save the sun, but the trip there proves to be their biggest obstacle.

In other trailer news, the second preview for March's CGI-fueled "TMNT" is now online, courtesy of Apple, so what are you waiting for? Click here to check it out. If you're impatient for the movie's March 23rd release date -- or just have a soft spot for turtles making "your mom" jokes -- this is the trailer you've been waiting for.

I found the Trailer for Sunshine to be a little disappointing, I still think it will be great, but that trailer was badly executed.

Wow, I guess the theme from Requiem for a Dream is now the unofficial generic movie trailer song. Regardless, Sunshine looks like it could be cool.

Both of these movies feature Chris Evans. He was great in Cellular.

I still get goosebumps when I hear Clint Mansell's (the "Requiem" theme) great work...even if it's over used by artards in Hollywood.

the action and movements in tmnt look very good so maybe this will work but most of the graphics look like they belong in a videogame. heck if the action is good and they paid attention to the story then this will work.

why didn't they never come up with new ideas by the way. like teenage mutant ninja chipmunks or teenage mutant ninja ducks or teenage mutant teakwondo cows or teenage mutant kungfu africans

Sunshine looks awesome, but TMNT...
Why do these Turtles have pupil eyes?

Why is April a ninja?

Why should I care?

Do you recall Ice Age 2? It wasn't even a year ago, and that made nearly 70mil during opening weekend, 200mil domestic.
