A Spielberg pastiche of uncanny precision and sublime pointlessness.
Nice review. Pretentious idiot.

This critic displays everything wrong with people that take this "profession" too seriously. This movie had everything a good movie should have, not the least of which is great character development with a compelling storyline. Elle Fanning is an absolute angel.

Pastiche? Really? This guys head is so far up his own ass he thinks he matters.

this movie was pretty pointless. All those people so understanding about his predicament, yet they should know they're about to be eaten! "I just want to go home...but I need something to eat for the journey"
As for the small boy convincing him to let go of 30 years of torture and imprisonment......simplistic end to a simply pointless movie

Oh and I know it's hollywood, but can filmmakers come up with some new ideas on how to derail a train - that entire scene was completely ridiculous, and to have the guy survive it???!!

@Jacob T Nice review. Presented well. Pointed out numerous flaws in the film that were accurate and on the money. Your reply? Pretentiously idiotic.
