I Just hope it doesn't give me the same "So this is what's become of the super hero...Sigh" vibe that The Amazing Spiderman gave me. You know, over bearing angst with a flare of emo. Perhaps Clark will learn how to fly to the rhythm of Death Cab for Cutie while sporting a hoodie.

It's interesting to see how these characters change depending on which director handles them. I don't know if Snyder has the chops to make a really good Superman film, but we'll definitely find out. My concern is they make him too morally ambiguous, which isn't Supes. He's supposed to be the Gold Standard, the one who doesn't compromise. If they make him conflicted a la Peter Parker, or if they make him dubiously moral a la Bruce Wayne, it just won't work. He doesn't toe the line between 'right and wrong'.

I dont claim to be a superman fanboy or anything but i dont mind if at some point he feels conflicted but his modest midwestern upbringing keeps him grounded and makes the morally right decision. I think that would make it seem more realistic while keeping form with the source material. This movie definitely intrigues me the most this summer

Nolan's name is on it. It will be a great movie. Whether it can hold a candle to the Batman trilogy remains to be seen.

With Jon Noto on this one. Spielburgs name is on all The Transformers Films.

I distinctly remember when Transformers premiered, Bay wanted it to be a convincing portrayal of what it would be like if giant transforming robots invaded Earth. And he had Spielberg's consent.

That's all I'm saying. Fill in the blanks however you wish.
