Chris nolan and superman

For those who do not know this

- Chris and Goyer came up with the story

- Chris has been on set a lot and Zack has been taking advice from him.

- Chris is the Producer! Why do people take that so lightly ?

Overall i just want to get across that yes Chris Nolan does have a lot to do with this movie. It is not all him like it is with most of what he does but overall respect the fact that he does have a lot to do with this film.

Yes and no.

Yes in the sense that they're going for a more "realistic" approach. Superman will not only be portrayed as the first super-being the world has seen. They're treating this more as a "first contact" scenario, meaning Superman also the first alien from another world they've ever seen. It will be the biggest event in human history.

No because Zack Snyder's direction is very different from Nolan's (see "300" and "Watchmen"). No matter how much Nolan was involved with producing and co-writing the film, this is Snyder's baby. This movie is also very special effects driven. Zack said there will be a LOT of large scale action, with a great story to go with it of course.

While doing the dark knight rises David S. Goyer and Christopher Nolan had an idea on how to present Superman in a modern so they both came up with the story and than Nolan pitched the idea to the studio, who than also hired Nolan to produce it.
