Your favorite movie of all time

Just felt like starting this because of Man of Steel being a DC movie as The Dark Knight is my favorite movie. If you don't have one then just make a top five.

This story is about a boy, who with super power. He has gone a journey which found life and fate. Man of steel shows superman story and cognition of self identity. Man of steel command key is my favorite in movie, and I want to know if we can make one. As a cosplay brand, xcoser has made a Man of steel command key. Now share the Design idea.

Design idea:

According to Xcoser Man of Steel command key of movie 1:1 copy to make. Let?s fans can be a superman.

Command key is contact way between superman and his father. As to everyone, father is superman. Superman found his life story from 13 years old. Depend on man of steel command key, he can contact with his father. So, Man of steel command key also is a symbol of Love and power.

According to original picture of movie, xcoser.com has made a design photo. Let imagining into design, and let movie product restore reality. How to make Xcoser Man of Steel kryptonian key? Let?s wait and see. We also will share man of steel command key manufacturing process. Continue to concern!

How to Make Man of Steel Command Key(2) --by Xcoser
In the production process of Xcoser Man of steel krypton key, xcoser.com also has thought about what kind of material was most appropriate that symbolizes the kind of superman spirit and grade. Xcoser has tried the iron, steel, alloys, and silver and gold. Xcoser combined with point and many ideas, different materials preservation methods, the values, even value prospect. The most important is that the film Man of steel restores, then it determined with some materials to make ultimately. It was very difficult to make in used different material, and ensure that exquisite workmanship also took much time and effort. But that was fortunate in the end; we let it shows perfectly to superman fans. Here are some combinations of materials to share.
Bill of Materials:

Material: Zinc alloy

Production process: Xcoser use the fission injection molding; the shape intactly restored Xcoser Man of steel command key of the film. While their surfaces are polished, making it presents the appearance of bright luster. And made it looks more atmospheric and worth collecting. Finally, after plating and oxidation treatment, you cannot worry about whether it can stand the tempered, it has become eminently collectable. It can make it seems to be new for a long time.

At the same time, xcoser.com also made a gold version of the Man of steel command key.

It is made of Zinc Alloy +24 K gold pure gold. Also after use the fission injection molding, polishing, electroplating, oxidation treatment process, to ensure its color become upscale and beautiful.

The material of the matte silver model of is zinc alloy, and the production process is the same.

Such a rigorous production process, what kind of Xcoser Man of steel command key will be born out? Next time we will tell you the answer!

We have shared with the design idea of Xcoser Man of steel command key last time. We also talk about the computer design and the material. Many friends emailed that want to know how the end product looks like. I feel so happy that there are so many fans interested in this Xcoser Man of steel Kryptonian key. Now I share this finished figure with everyone here.

Finished the top

Side view of the key

Do you feel that is very consistent with the command key in the film? In fact, making this one key is very difficult. Xcoser also encountered many problems about this key. But finally Xcoser completed the Xcoser Man of Steel command key.

This one is the regular version, but the other was launched ceremoniously by Xcoser, it is highlight, bold, and luxurious.

This version is made ??from silver, and xcoser.com also introduces 24k gold versions. This key can be a very good gift for friends and family. Coupled with the high-grade base and outer protective shell, it is so gorgeous. You cannot believe that Xcoser Man of steel command key can also have it so elegant side!

Maybe not my favorite of all, but kudos to those who mention "Blade Runner" for the science fiction category. It's extremely well-crafted, every scene evokes a brooding dystopian future. The movie explores the difficult question of "what does it mean to be human" with both apprehension and optimism. You can literally spend hours having deep conversations with others about this movie. No wonder it is often showed in various college courses - philosophy, anthropology, ethics, even religious studies. And, of course, the "final cut" is the version that the director really intended at the outset. The first version with the "voice over" was done at the insistence of the studio execs, who felt the audience would be too dumb to "get it" without ongoing explanation. They were dead wrong.

I find it amazing how anyone can pan this movie! It's the best action movie I ever seen! But I have been thinking about it, the Lefties hate this movie and here is why. Maybe if it was called SuperPerson or The Person of Steel they'd like it. Maybe if it did not make you think of 911 and the Muslims celebrating all over the world as it happened they'd like it. Maybe if it did not have you think of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and family values they'd like it. And most of all if it didn't let you think AMERICA they'd like it.

Jun 30 - 06:08 PM

Nykirnsu 1.

Nykirnsu 1

Are you seriously suggesting people didn't like this movie due to them being to 'liberal'? No, people didn't like this movie because it was a confused mess. It didn't know what it wanted to be, trying to be both an action-ey blockbuster and a Dark Knight imitator, the plot made little sense and was filled with plot-holes, the characters were flat, generic and felt like they were only there because they had to be and most of all, for all its pretense of being 'about something', it had no purpose aside from looking cool (and granted, the fight scenes and visuals were pretty cool). So no, people don't hate because of 'liberal bias', and you seem to think they do out of 'conservative bias' (which does exist), and even try to call me a biased liberal; I'm not even American.

Jul 17 - 03:03 AM

Really? I don't necessarily disagree with your pointing out the shameless (or not) correlations to 911, but to think that the negative reviews are due to offended liberals? That is a real stretch my friend. This is a movie about a comic book character...can't we just enjoy it and appreciate as an art form? Gee wiz...Oh, and by the way, you do realize that everyone in the world is not Christian, right? One more thing, the Muslims that I know were just as appalled by what 911 as we were. Get a grip.

Obviously, none of you have seen Bride of the Monster, which is probably the undisputed masterpiece of Edward Wood's astonishing and accomplished career. It was the underrated and underseen cinematic gem that preceded the much over-hyped Plan 9 From Outer Space, which in my opinion was underwhelming in both character and story development, lacked well-balanced pacing, and was a little too style over substance; yet was still undeniably partial in the peaking of Mr. Wood's popularity and was still breath-taking, visually and artistically. Yet neither Bride of Monster nor Plan 9, nor Ed Wood's inspirational biographical debut Glen or Glenda, can be compared to higly-stylized yet criminally lavishing, more go-for-broke and stupefying later career of Mr. Wood, laden with exquisite, bravely smut racket, exploitive, grindhouse skin-flicks such as Night of the Ghouls, Orgy of the Dead, and The Sinister Urge, all of which featured authenticity and tour de forces by extremely versatile actors and actresses such as Tor Johnson, Criswell, Conrad Brooks, the young, unnamed starlet from Orgy, and the exotic and beautiful dancers who rose from the dead, also from Orgy. Everything Mr. Wood as done, even his later works that were caught by the New Wave fever and the overrated Hollywood Reconnaissance Era of the late 1960's-early 1990's including Venus Flytrap and Necromania, were in my opinion, more intelligent and sophisticsted than Francis Ford Coppola's alleged "unsurpassable jewel" which in reality is a melodramatic, star-studded, and pedestrian turkey.

Can't believe I spent so much time looking at all these lists -- but they reminded me of how many great (or very good!) movies I've seen. Two I noticed weren't there (in my skimming) were The Day the Earth Stood Still (Gort -- Klaatu barada nikto) and Yentl (I love a musical that has such a depth of emotions and is so well thought out -- like Showboat)

I haven't seen The Shining yet (because I hate myself, apparently), nor have I seen The Thin Red Line, but I've seen "The Tree of Life." While I think it's overrated, I can see what a lot of people see in it. Besides, these films clearly deserve their positions because this is one person's opinion. A film's quality is ultimately decided by what one viewer thinks of it, because to that viewer, their opinion is most important.

Strongly disagree. It wasn't 'cozy' and doesn't need to be complicated to be great. The overall buildup to his escape is movie gold.... I felt as liberated as Robbins after crawling through that pipe. I too am surprised that more people don't list it in their favorite list.

It was a three-hour sci-fi epic with six great stories, a cast of fantastic character actors, fantastic writing, great music, funny jokes and exciting action. The editing was remarkable, and the visual aesthetic was beautiful, even if its lower budget showed from time to time. It was a shining example of what film can be, bold, daring and polished with a sure command of technical wizardry and artistic vision.

Also, it made me cry for about twenty straight minutes. Any movie that can accomplish that is doing SOMETHING right.

It's kind of funny that you take umbrage with that over my placement of "The Great Gatsby" or "Dredd." You'd think those would be weirder movies.

Well, if you don't like "Cloud Atlas" you don't like it, and that's perfectly ok. The film is pretty divisive, which is honestly pretty cool. It's better for a film to be "love it or hate it" rather than "Universally thought of as ok."

Cloud Atlas had the potential of becoming a spectacular movie. Instead, it was a spectacular idea, with mediocre execution. I wanted it to make my list of faves, SO VERY badly b/c of the concept, but I just couldn't do it.

I agree. Too many people are butt happy for the late Ledger. Nicholson pulled off the perfect Joker. Imho.... Jack > Heath. Just saying. Yes I think Keaton made a better Batman as well.

Jack did a great job, but Heath fucking CONQUERED the role. I would still feel this way had Heath not have died. I also thought Bale was better than Keaton (although I loved Keaton as well).

I do think Heath did a better acting job since Jack Nicholson was more or less well...just being Jack Nicholson. But for the actual role of the joker I thought Jack Nicholson's personality fit perfectly. He's nuts

To be entirely honest, I know I'm gonna get flamed for this but I never liked Nicholson as Joker. When I read the Joker in The Killing Joke, The Man Who Laughs and even The Dark Knight Returns, I always see a dark twisted and frightening person. With Nicholson, I was not afraid of him in the slightest, he was a complete joke. I was never able to be afraid of him or take him seriously. Keaton's my favorite live action Batman though.

I feel like Jack Nicholson gave a good performance of a goofy, slightly psychotic mob boss, but not so much as the Joker. It was a different character, and while Heath Ledger's take wasn't completely faithful, it was a lot more true to the spirit of the character. Jack didn't really play the Joker, he was Jack Napier bleached white.

Fight Club. F-I-G-H-T C-L-U-B. It was originally formed by Tyler Durden and a man named Jack in the year 1999. Originally it was supposed to be an independent underground fighting club, but eventually Durden changed it into a terrorist organization. Several establishments were destroyed by this group, with the eventual destruction of several buildings, and ending with the death of Durden. Whatcha gonna do now, muthafuckas?

I probably should have took off some like Spaceballs or Karate Kid but that's it for the most part. I did miss Full Metal Jacket, though. I appreciate the analysis.

What's wrong with loving Spaceballs? It's one of the greatest comedies ever created.

Jun 2 - 04:21 PM

Rocket

Rocket Raccoon

Maybe I've been watching too many dark and serious movies with deep meaning rather than fun ones. I'll watch it again tomorrow and it will hopefully be as funny as I remember it being. Maybe I thought it wouldn't fit in with all of the other movies or something.

Jun 2 - 05:25 PM

Tony Eddard Stark

Tony Eddard Stark

I agree with his analysis. There was nothing wrong with the original Karate Kid. However, Spaceballs was completely stupid and not very funny at all. Full Metal Jacket was a good movie overall. The first half (boot camp) was absolutely classic, but the second half (war) was just ok imho. Anyways there Hunter Primm, you got yourself a damn good list of movies there.

My top ten of all time:
1. Toy Story 3
2. Dog Day Afternoon
3. Silver Linings Playbook
4. Pulp Fiction
5. The Departed

7. Collateral
8. Looper
9. No Country For Old Men

Glad to see Looper on your list. Usually, I wait a few years before adding recent films to my personal collection, because I don't want it to be crammed with films made in the past five years... but it's a damn good film. I might have to get it on DVD.

I think his expectations are getting a little too high. Sometimes before I watch a movie that's supposedly good (Juno, The Terminator, etc), I tell myself, "This movie is a piece of shit." so I could lower my expectations so no matter what, I'm satisfied. But I think we set the bar a little too high for Mr. Halpert.
