Audience Reviews for Three (Survival Island)
Erotic thriller where sexual tension and jealousy is rife between a couple of tourists and a local deck hand who become stranded on a small isolated island after their tour boat catches fire and sinks. The film would be damn nigh unwatchable were it not for one of the worlds most beautiful women Kelly Brook, who poses her way through the film like shes on an FHM shoot baring her natural assets with little persuasion. It's mostly tedium to endure in this though with boring scenes of fishing and childish petty squabbling. Billy Zane provides a few fun moments as he's eventually driven mad by jealousy and he's the only character I felt a shred of sympathy for. It's a poor film, strictly for fans of Kelly Brook's body.More
Three (known as Survival Island in the good ol' U.S. of A., which is a horrible title), is best known as that movie where Kelly Brook gets her knockers out. That aspect of the movie absolutely does not disappoint. But as grateful as I am that it provided that vital service, I wish it had at least one other reason for me to recommend it.†
It's basically about three immoral, horrible people who get stranded on an island together after their boat is destroyed, and then proceed to do pretty horrible things to each other. It's not great, but I've seen much worse. Three has a tv movie quality to it, and if you watch it with the appropriate level of expectations, it's not bad. Would I have watched it if Kelly Brook wasn't in it? Maybe. That's more than I can say for most movies that exist solely as an excuse to ogle a really hot woman.
Classed as an erotic thriller, unfortunately failing on both counts. Kelly Brook does get naked for about 2 mins of the film and that's it. There isn't mush tension, or scares and it has a daft voodoo sub-plot. A similar and much better film, also starring Billy Zane, is Deep Calm.More
