Jacky Wu (DRUNKEN MONKEY, THE LEGEND OF ZU) stars as Yang, a martial arts student who wants to learn tai chi from master Chan but is rebuffed due to his lack of pedigree. When Chan is kidnapped by the evil warlord Tun (kickboxing champion Billy Chow, FIST OF LEGEND), Chan's daughter finally reveals her father's tai chi secrets so that Yang can use them to rescue the missing master. Hardhitting and visually sumptuous, this thrilling martial arts epic is fueled by lush cinematography, period-piece production design, and, of course, Yuen's trademark gravity-defying action sequences.
