In TANYA'S ISLAND, the cocoa-skinned diva plays the title character, who seeks respite and meditation on an island with her lover Lobo. The couple's peaceful vacation is interrupted when Tanya befriends Blue, a primate-like creature, while on a hike in the jungle. Blue and Lobo immediately butt heads, and the latter begins taking on beastly characteristics. Mirroring this, Blue slowly starts to behave in a more human manner, imitating the traits of Tanya and her lover. Soon both Blue and Lobo are caught between the identities of man and beast, and must fight over their shared love of the gorgeous Tanya. [More]
