Family responsibility puts love on hold for dutiful daughter Indu (Rakhee Gulzar), who delays marriage until her orphaned siblings are settled in this emotional drama. When her father (A.K. Hangal) dies, Indu decides not to marry her true love, Dr. Varma (Parikshat Sahni), until her young brother and sisters are able to make it on their own. With cheerful determination, she accepts her task -- but how long is her sweetheart willing to wait?
