You "bearly" gave this film a chance. I take it you went in looking to hate it.

I'm glad I'm not a film reviewer and can choose which films I go to see. I suppose watching assigned films for a film reviewer is like reading the summer book list for students.

Yeah, you're obviously a great judge of intelligence.

If this person prefers gross-out comedy, they have no business sharing their reviews with the public. This movie was written by a person who has an actual education and is undoubtedly more intelligent than anyone who has posted a review here. If you think the jokes are hit and miss, it means you didn't get some of the jokes because you're not smart enough to get them.

Apparently this guy's review went right over your head. You're one to comment on intelligence.

Yes he may be smart, but he makes the easiest, cheapest form of comedy out there and you consider that smart? You all have obviously lost touch of what good comedy is because if you consider this preachy crap any good I feel sorry for you and America.

I thought it was incredibly mediocre myself. It had a couple moments that were funny, but overall, it was okay at best.

I don't understand that when a reviewer posts a negative review, suddenly she/he is an idiot. Seriously - for pretty much most movies, some will like them, some will not. If most people like the movie, then you probably will like it.

If a movie gets 20% like most recent Adam Sandler movies, it probably sucks. In this case, when you do a Seth McFarlane push the envelope movie, about half are going to hate it.

Sometimes dumb is smart, when you work that our you'll get Seth's sense of humor. Its meant to be funny because it is so ridiculously stupid.

Or dumb is just dumb and people like you have to convince yourself that dumb is funny because you've forgotten what good comedy is.

No need to insult people John, there are several senses of humour within societies, just because certain people have a different sense of humour to you doesn't make them dumb.

First of I never stated that anyone is "dumb" If I did please clarify, all I was doing was pointing out the irony in this guys comment as it seems people have to convince themselves this is funny "Its meant to be funny because it is so ridiculously stupidâ?? Sounds forced to me. Either way you're criticising me for giving my opinion yet you look at every critic on here that's given a bad review and gets hammered with remarks like "you have no sense of humour" Until you start seeing comedy similar to Seinfeld or Carlin then you'll start to appreciate what real smart comedy is. But yes I agree there are several different types of humour out there and this one tends to fit the MacDonald's style of comedy, cheap and easy. So what do you fit? The love of cheap comedy or the hypocrisy you see throughout this page?
