Two Tickets for "TMNT" Please.
"Tee-Em-En-Tee" That's the phrase you'll be using when you line up at the box office to see next year's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" modernization. Why? Because that's the title: "TMNT" Wacky.
From IGN FilmForce: "Warner Brothers has announced that the official title for the 2007 CG Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film will be the popular abbreviation for the franchise, TMNT. The film is currently in production at the hands of Kevin Monroe, a joint venture between Warner Brothers (who will handle domestic distribution) and The Weinstein Company (which will handle overseas)."

dylan21484nj writes: on Jul 18 2006 11:44 AM i dunno... the Ninja Turtles don't have the kind of appeal they used to have in the late 80's and early 90's. i don't see this being a smash hit like the first Ninja Turtles movie was. and is this gonna be a completely CG film like Toy Story? or will the Ninja Turtles themselves be the only CG? thadeus_79 writes: on Jul 19 2006 03:24 PM I'll see it. I am a little disappointed though on the new TMNT cartoon. I hate to see my childhood cartoons put on steriods, I wish they would bring back the 80 cartoons on the cartoon network or something. Dungeons & Dragons, TMNT, He-Man, GI Joe, and Jem! Freth writes: on Jul 21 2006 05:08 AM TMNT bleck! TMNT were slightly after my time. I remember back when they were popular, I used to think it such a stupid series. I was very glad when it died off, but now they want to bring it back with a new CG movie? Ugh... please, let it die. It's corny beyond belief. (Reply to this) |

Mistigris writes: on Jul 21 2006 04:37 PM I don't get what the beef is with the way the CG looks for this film. Have the complainers actually watched the teaser yet? I'm not a huge fan of CG where live actors, settings, suits are more believable.. but we're talking about mutant ninja turtles here. (Reply to this) |
