I Am Remote writes: on Jul 20 2006 02:31 PM What about the next Batman???? Begins was incredible and by far the best comic adaptation put to screen. Brilliant cast. Yet news on this movie is either slow to come or very hush hush. I just want some reassurance they're working on it. (Reply to this) |

Xavier Telouran writes: on Jul 20 2006 05:54 PM Well, if you believe the crazies over at IGN.com, there may already be a decision regarding Batman Begins 2. I'll let you check it yourself, but if you want a big hint, think about how the Joker can't quit Batman. And I've said too much . . . (Reply to this) |

Darth_Ninch writes: on Jul 20 2006 06:54 PM The Heath Ledger rumour is not everything you've been hearing about. They say Ledger is already cast as The Joker, yet, Batman-on-Film hasn't even heard a rumour on this, heard about a screen test for Ledger and the other actors, and even the official contract signing. If the story was 100% true, then I guarantee you, that BOF would've heard something about it weeks in advance before th official announcement was made. In my thread on the Untitle Begins sequel board on Rottentomatoes, I believe that Ledger was asked if he would like to screen test for the role, and LatinoReview just blew it way out of proportion and made it out to be a "signed, sealed, and delivered" deal. I Am Remote writes: on Jul 20 2006 07:21 PM Interesting. Ledger impressed me in brokeback mountain, I wonder though if he's too masculine for the role of the Joker. In the best cartoon and comic depictions, the Joker is a gangly freak. I kind of want to see that on screen. (Reply to this) |

Master King Sexington writes: on Jul 20 2006 10:39 PM In reply to this comment (#840559) Terrible advise, never, ever see the Brothers Grim. Terrible movie. But I just don't see Ledger as the Joker. I want someone lanky and a little creepy. I'd prefer someone nearly unknown (Reply to this) |
