That is not true. it is kinda funny how you compare Paprika to this film. I mean they came out the same year. Both did very well story and animation. The only difference is that I think that Tekkon Kinkreet has more heart put into its landscaping and character development. The city has such detailed and complexity to it. The opening sequence alone is captivatingly beautiful by itself. The main characters bond between each other were well received. You really don't know what you are talking about when it comes to Japanese anime. You should go back to rating other movies like Fast and the Furious so your tiny little brain can keep up.
