The poster is quite scandalous. I was surprised to see the PG-13 rating. I didn't even know it was Tyler Perry by looking at it. I thought it was some kind of erotic thriller. But it looks like it's a comedy.
This is what Perry does, he tries to appeal to a large audience through the tame rating with a subject matter and marketing that implies it's for a specific age level.
He's a total uncle Tom fraud money licking shitwanker.
Yeah, that's what he meant. I'm thinking perhaps he meant to reply to OP, and replied to my post on accident. Cus I certainly didn't make any kind of attack on the movie based on it's MPAA rating. I'm one of those people who thinks that a PG-13 rating doesn't always kill horror movies.
First off, He had For Colored Girls and that was rated R and people still went to see that. A lot of Oscar-Nominated/Winning films with serious subject matters are PG-13 rated, Forrest Gump, The Color Purple, Doubt, Beasts of the Southern Wild, The Blind Side etc.
I see your point, I really do, but Tyler Perry is advertising this like some steamy and sensual movie when its only PG-13 which means that he still wants to get some teens to see it as well
Tyler Perry doesn't give a damn. He creates films with a pg-13 rating in hopes that more people see his pitiful movies. He's is the most self-indulgent hack in Hollywood today.
You mad? Does his movies affect your day-to-day activities? I don't even consider Tyler Perry apart of Hollywood. The man has clearly alienated himself from Hollywood's bull crap standards.
Darth Tutweiller
Because Tyler Perry.
