The first commenter above was flippant and reactionary, and had they clicked once or twice more and read/thought about things for more than a few seconds, they'd have known this was a rotten review of the Blu-ray release, not the film itself (which is also one of my favorites of all time). Seriously, people. Evolve.
I'm hard pressed to wonder how much you actually read of the review before typing. The blu-ray is a waste, unless you don't mind the absence of the original soundtrack. The image quality is barely better than on DVD. Hence, keep your DVD.
A shame this review shows up as a "rotten", because the reviewer is absolutely right about the movie's (considerable) qualities. He acknowledges - rightly, in my opinion - that this is Cameron's best ever movie, and that it "remains as intelligent and emotionally complex as any film of its kind [...] the reductive lens of pop culture - to say nothing of intellectual film snobs ignorant to genre pleasures - can't extinguish its mythic humanist power."
WTF are you talking about? If Rotten Tomatoes deleted the accounts of people who opened their mouths (or typed, whatever) without thinking, this place would be like Australia.
People, are you bloody retarded? Just read the full review. Mr. Humanick writes how good the film is in it. It's effin' mental the amount of half-wits with internet connection who don't know to read..
