McG demonstrates a complete inability to understand what made the Cameron Terminator films so good.
I liked this movie, but i think that the older terminator movies were better, check this out.http://c5aa6lf0ha27gs05xbo98ohu2x.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=ZACMOVIE01

this guy has no idea what he's talking about, obviously never saw the series... or just dumb, dunno.

No, he's referring to the fact that the McG Terminator world was lacking in terror. Remember the scenes in the original terminator where the humans were forced to live underground in sewers like rats. Every door had to be locked and guarded, and dogs had to be present anytime someone entered the building to sniff out machines. Remember the surface wars, the fields of bones, the giant HKs rolling about, crushing skulls under treads, the Infiltrators lighting up the night with their blinding lights? Remember the wave after wave of machines in the opening scenes of T2?
In McG's world, the humans live in wide open airport hangars, they have minimal security, and the machines are so sparse you hardly feel they're present at all. People are able to fly about it slow cumbersome hueys with no threat at all of being taken out by an Infiltrator.
McG's world is just "meh." Not intimidating at all. The characters and actors where fine, even the story was okay, though I wouldn't have let out that Marcus was a machine in the FUCKING TRAILER!!! I even liked the story. I just thought the world would've seemed more scary once the machines took over, as depicted in Cameron's original two films.

I wouldn't be so sure, I thought the only major problem with the film was the lack of character depth.

He wasn't trying to be James Cameron, he was trying to make an interesting summer flick, and he succeeded. Why don't you know what you're talking about before you write a review

McG is allowed to have his own take on the Universe Cameron created, but to pussy it up... well that's just dumb.
I love the irony of your username btw.

and this is why he failed so badly. Terminator franchise started as an ambitious sic-fi terror... and was converted to a summer action flick.
It's not a bad film overall, it's mediocre IMO.
