![]() on Oct 04 2007 11:10 AM Ugh... Charlie's Angels? And Vin Diesel? Look, I don't particularly hate Vin Diesel, he can be entertaining in given movies (Pitch Black). Terminator does not fit him. What the hell are they thinking getting this director for Terminator? This does not look good. Lining the pockets, lining the pockets. (Reply to this) |

on Oct 04 2007 11:26 AM I gotta give them credit for making the "Planet of the Apes" connection. Of course, none of the "Apes" sequels were very good, but they did find an equilibrium of badness that's enjoyable for people who like that sort of thing. Most franchises - keep in mind - only get worse over the first 3-4 movies. By that point they've either collapsed completely, or hit a tolerable, maintainable stride that they can carry as long as they want. It looks like Terminator could follow in that tradition. I won't watch it, but I'm not angry about it either. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Oct 04 2007 11:39 AM Well I'm for one pissed. T3 was bad, but this is a WHOLE new kind of low. Sounds like it'll hit the top 100 worst movies ever list. (Reply to this) |

on Oct 04 2007 11:50 AM And enough with this talk of destroying the works of great directors. Jaws is still very much a classic, thankyouverymuch, no matter what horrors befell the series at SeaWorld. Psycho's place in history has been untarnished by its three sequels. And Cameron's Terminator films will be remembered fondly long after this new, parasitic franchise has been forgotten. (Reply to this) |

on Oct 04 2007 11:51 AM i'd rather have rob schneider to write, direct, and produce a remake of the godfather with the following cast: vito: lewis black sonny: dane cook fredo: wilmer valderrama micheal: rob schneider tom hagen: ryan seacrest connie: sarah silverman than watch another McG movie. (Reply to this) |

![]() on Oct 04 2007 01:54 PM In all seriousness, this 'new trilogy' may end up even worse than the 'Resident Evil' film trilogy. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Oct 04 2007 02:06 PM I think i just threw up a lil in my mouth ... McG are they efffffin serious , this dude is a hack and has no done anything good to date in any way shape or form ... Mr Diesil i could live with , i mean he has to play a robot and his acting has been compared to a robot so i think he would be fine , Though i think using Vin is just a cop out of every one who is looking for a "Buff" dude to be in a movie ... Why not look around for someone else to be a Terminator , I Personally think Wentworth Miller from Prison Break could totally pull this off , not to mention all the new fans and female fans you might snag with casting him . Also i think Gerard Butler could pull the look off and he has the acting chops to play a Terminator ... Anyway thats just my thoughts , McG is trash and if he is involved we can alreay write this movie off ... (Reply to this) |

on Oct 04 2007 02:38 PM I'm gonna have to stand on principle here and refuse to see anything directed by a grown man who refers to himself by the name "McG". (Reply to this) |

on Oct 04 2007 02:51 PM In reply to this comment (#1168187) They'd need to cast Adam Sandler too. He's really good friends with Rob Schneider. Oh and also David Spade. LOL. (Reply to this) |

on Oct 04 2007 03:25 PM If they make this movie...just sell it on dvd and blue ray only. (Reply to this) |

on Oct 04 2007 03:30 PM James cameron needs to spend his titanic money on buying back the rights of terminator because greedy producers are destroying his legendary characters. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Oct 04 2007 04:32 PM I would shoot myself in the face. if it happens, twenty bucks on Terminator: Full Throttle. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Oct 04 2007 04:56 PM "Terminator 4 is really the movie we've been waiting for and that Terminator 3 failed to deliver..." What? #1) Terminator 3 has a 71% on the Tomatometer. Granted, it wasn't Terminator 2-awesome, but it wasn't Charlie's Angels-crap either. #2) Vin Diesel? Um... No. They think they can throw a wooden actor into Arnold's shoes, and that will help the situation. It won't. Just because Vin lacks fluctuation in vocal tone doesn't mean he is a good replacement. #3) McG? Why? Do they hate us? He made Charlie's Angels. He produced Stay Alive. Nuff said. I have decided that movie executives hate moviegoers. They just want to punish us for absolutely nothing. We saw all three of your movies! We gave you our money! What more do you want from us? *sobs* (Reply to this) |

![]() on Oct 04 2007 06:09 PM McG has his finger in every pie here lately, one thing I really want to know is that his real name or possibly a shorten version. Though a guess calling your kid Apple is stranger than McG. Anyways there should be no more Terminator films if Arnold is not the lead...period. (Reply to this) |

on Oct 04 2007 06:38 PM I really like Vin Diesel, and i think he could be a good character that isnt too main and on the resistance side. No comment about the director. (Reply to this) |
