Movie Info

Frontier Town stars Tex Ritter as wandering cowpoke Tex Lansing. Hoping to raise a lot of money in a hurry, Tex enters a rodeo, winning virtually every event. The nervous rodeo officials hand him a huge cash prize just to get rid of him, but he doesn't leave until he's rendered a song or two. Since there must be a plot, scriptwriter Edmund Kelso wedges a murder mystery into the story. Silent screen comedian Snub Pollard goes into his usual antics as Tex's sidekick Pee-wee, while Charles King handles the villainy. Nothing special, Frontier Town was eminently satisfactory for Ritter's legions of fans.more
